Dear Family, Loved-Ones and Friends:
After 5 months and 1 week from Dick's accident in September, he
and Dorinda have moved temporarily to an
accessible apartment in Santa Rosa. He has a busy schedule
of appointments throughout the week with the home health team who
will continue with his therapy and getting him stronger. He
can stand for short periods
but is currently using a wheelchair to get around. Dorinda
pops him in and out of the car when he has to go to doctor's
visit. He has made incredible progress but there are probably
a couple more surgeries in the
future to improve some joint functionality. He is really
happy to be eating what HE wants rather than hospital food!
He is just starting to work on his computer again - can't keep him
down!
We have taken down the blog where you can post comments as all
of the Spam Bots started to find it and post
gibberish (as you may have noticed). We will stop posting to
this site soon.
Thanks to everyone for their hopes, prayers and well wishes - as
you can see - they worked! Dick is
able to take visitors between his other commitments. Call
Dorinda on her cell phone or email her if you will be in the area
and want to see them.
